Last February 13, 2010, The Our Lady of Fatima University celebrated its 43rd anniversary held at Rizal memorial stadium, Harrison, Manila where the 3 campuses of olfu from Valenzuela, Quezon City, and Antipolo were gathered. The celebration was organized by Mr.Don Santos, Vice President for finance, who was also the one who lit the torch that symbolizes the start of the event.

The event was started with a prayer and national anthem, then a band composed by the high school students of olfu started banging-up their drums that brought the ambience of the staduim in a festive manner. The crowd were on their feet when the mc's started introducing the students representing their respective college courses.

Aside from the scorching heat of Sun, the field was also fired-up by the candidates of Miss Fatima wearing their casual attire (shirts and mini-shorts). The basketball team of olfu was also introduced, The Fatima Pheonix.

After the ramp of the current Mister & Miss Fatima, The Performing Arts of FAtima organization or also known as PAGFA presented an intermission number in a hip-hop groove. Before the real event started, an inspirational speech was also dig-in by a Presidential candidate Mr.Gibo Teodoro asking the students of olfu to use their power as a youth and voter in this coming elections and to strive more in their academics for they are the once who will use it in the future.

Then, the long wait is over!
The first batch of male students from 3 campuses of olfu who practiced really hard everyday in 3 different places gathered in one field. Cheers from the crowd can say how they're excited to watch the "Main event".

Before, it was an competition. But now, they are dancing as one.


Then after after the magnificent dance from males, the female students also showed their talent in dancing. The crowd gone gaga while watching the graceful dance steps of female students in the tune of fire and buttons olfu from 3 campuses. (watch the video in crazymotion.net)

After the the main event, the students who will participate in the games was introduced while the olfu Pep Squad dances as they welcome them.

It's my pleasure to be part of the 43rd anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima University. Its a great expirience to be a pheonix.
