She Loves Me Not by Marlo Igmasin directed by Ai Tamanaha & Lord Seruelo.
Last October 6 & 7, The Tanghalang Batingaw together with other Lyceans organized an event The 6th Kalingangan Theater Fest. Actors and actresses from the organization shows their talents as they stusiasticly portrait the characters at their respective role plays.
The production also includes other Role plays; When Dudong Meets Princess & The Family Tree.
I never got the chance to watch the Dudong Meets Princess but I watched the Family Tree. The story is about a family who disappoints their mother by being a bad daughter and son. It's a very heartfelt story. The way the characters brings the audience into a realistic events in a certain family.
She Loves me Not: One of the funniest play I had ever watched. The way they deliver their dialogs are really cool as if they are just playing around. One who really caught my eyes is Aladin and the step sisters! they are so funny they brought out the hell out of me! The story is really easy.. I gave it a two thumbs-to up for the productions and to the directors! Job well done! :)
