minami & jayce
Last April 4, 2009. My friend Jayce & her sister joined a cosplay event named E-games DOMINATION III held at Mall of Asia SMX convention center. At first, after we arrived at tha MOA, we accompanied our friends to the registration booth. There we saw some of the cutest and finest (also the not-so-facinating one) cosplayers here in Manila. At that time, Jayce and minami is still on their usual outdoor clothes. After the registration it was only 1pm, and knowing that the cosplayIt will start at 3pm, we manage to eat our lunch to make our friends feel full before going into long time of standing and smiling at the cameras. It was already 2:15pm when we started to dress them up.Anticipations filled the airwaves seeing them ready to Dominate the floor. It was good and nice feeling to see our friend and her sister showcasing their talent (and their beauty too). After hours of long waiting. The event was started with a bang! There was Maverick and Ariel who holded the mike and every now and then, they make jokes about the cosplayers. But good thing, the cosplayers are all game on their jokes. After Jace and minami's ramp, We accompanied them around the that was the start of one-helluva-camera-shots! I was there I assist them as they smile to the cameras, I counted the persons who had a picture with them, If I can still remember, There was 125... Or was it 135?? oh well... I forgot.After the photos and before the announcement of the winners, I saw my friends drooling for a rest. Good thing, I saw some chairs at the booth of Alodia Gosiengfiao (she was not there) who by-the-way one of the reasons why we manage to join the event. While we're waiting for the announcement of winners, we manage to take some pictures of us. Then It happen. One person from the backstage approached us and said if he can take some pictures of my friends wearing the Chobits costumes. We agreed and after a single shot we're supprised to see Alodia Gosiengfiao coming out the back stage like a Goddess. She Smiled at us and ask for Jayce and Minami for some pictures!!! It turned out that the guy who ask my friends to pause is also the Personal photographer af Alodia! We are all suprised and facinated at the moment! because we really thought that she's not there. It's a great feeling for my friend jaja because we know that she's one of the fan of Alodia. It's a great feeling. And we really wish that It happen again.
(next time, I will not forget my white shirt and my Pentel pen.)
